Sexedos and Meanings

We are two days away from the wedding and I can hardly believe it. I know I am going to be sad when it is all over and I am doing my best to enjoy every moment. Just Breathe. Last night I took our little Ryan to pick up his "sexedo". When you ask him what he is wearing to the wedding, that's what he says "my sexedo". He put it on and looked so handsome standing in front of the mirror striking a pose in his little tux. Then, he asked me what handsome meant. I told him its like when you tell a girl that she is pretty. He said, "why don't you tell boys that they are pretty?" At first it made me giggle a little, then my non-gender biased bristles rose up on the back of my neck and spoke up. "Why not tell a boy he is pretty?" So, all you boys out there get ready for me to tell you that you look pretty in your tuxedos and all you girls get ready to be told you are looking quite handsome in your dresses. They are just words. We give them meanings.

Kids are great, I had a former student who called a magazine- mazagine and hospital- hostibal. I cracked up everytime and she still does it just to get me to laugh.

Good luck on your BIG day. Don't worry about a thing (I know it's hard), just try and enjoy it and be in the moment. Before you know it- it'll be over and you'll wonder why you stressed so much over something that was over in a couple hours. BUT then it's onto the honeymoon-whoohoooo! YEAH BABY!
